Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Amex, Solo and Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

Please note that in order to purchase any official Scout Association Badges you MUST enter your full membership number on the payment section. If this number is not entered the order will NOT be processed. If you are unsure of your membership number please see the FAQ's section of the site in order to locate it.

1) STANDARD Delivery: (Royal mail 2nd class or Interlink Express.) (Basically 10%!)

e) Orders up to £70 - £6.99

2) FAST Delivery: (Royal mail 1st class or Interlink Express)

As above, but with £2 added to each price band.

3) BADGE ORDER: (Royal mail 2nd class. This class of delivery will only be accepted if you are only purchasing badges. Any other items selected will result in full "Standard Delivery" charges being applied at time of despatch.)

a) Orders up to £60 - £1.50
b) Orders over £60 - FREE!

4) BADGE EXPRESS Order: (Royal Mail 1st class. This class of delivery will only be accepted if you are only purchasing badges. Any other items selected will result in full "Fast Delivery" charges being applied at time of despatch.)

As above, but with £1.25 extra on both price bands.

Overseas orders will have an extra postage charge added on when the order is despatched. This will be determined by the weight and destination of the order. We will email you to confirm the amount of this charge before the item is despatched.

Please note that any orders over 1kg in weight may/will be sent via InterLink Express. These will generally arrive the next day but may take 2 depending on your postcode. These will require a signature.

Delivery Schedule

All goods are posted via Royal Mail or Interlink Express to mainland UK. We aim to post your order out the same day if placed before 15.00hrs, Monday - Friday. Orders placed after 15.00 should be despatched the next working day (Mon - Fri). A slight delay may occur if we are extremely busy, it may take an extra day or so for us to despatch it. We do our best to get your order on its way to you as fast as we can and we are commended on the speed of our service.

Royal Mail aim to deliver 1st class items within 1 - 2 working days and 2nd class within 3 working days. Parcels are items weighing over 1kg. These may/will be sent via InterLink Express. These will generally arrive the next day but may take 2 depending on your postcose. These will require a signature.. (Please bear this in mind when ordering several items of uniform or larger stock lines. (A single scout shirt weighs almost 500g.)

24 hour next day delivery service within the UK is available. However, it may not always be possible. The price of delivery will include original p&p plus a surcharge. This will be dependent on the nature and weight of the goods. Please phone the shop to see if this service is available. If it is, we will get back to you to confirm the extra cost of delivery. Please remember that guaranteed deliveries must be signed for.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will not be charged for these items unless instructed. You will be notified if the product is out of stock by a small note on your reciept. We will forward these on as soon as they are available.
Tax Charges All prices on the Web Site are inclusive of VAT @ 17.500% There are many items on the website that are VAT free or Zero Rated.
Credit Card Security All credit and debit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Please note that if your Maestro Card does not have a issue number please enter 0 or 1 on the payments page. It is generally only Natwest & Clydesdale bank cards that have issue numbers.

Please note your card will not be debited untill goods are despatched form the store.
