If you’ve ordered online from us, you may have noticed that your recent orders now have less paperwork enclosed than what we used to send out.

We had been sending out a copy of your receipt, a compliments slip, a returns form and a note of anything that was on back order.

Since March, we’ve been unable to open our physical shop to customers which has meant a greater focus on how we trade online. As orders are received electronically, we decided to look at how we could make communications easier for us and our customers. You have always received a copy of your receipt by email so we have no stopped printing these as this was providing duplicate information to you. In addition, we are aware that where there is paperwork in the envelope, it doesn’t always get seen so where something is on back order, we are now emailing you to let you know about it.

We are also aware that we have not always been great at letting you know that part of your order is still on back order. We have changed how we record these now so that we can send you an email every couple of weeks to update you on your back orders and we will also let you know when the goods have come in to stock and are being dispatched.
